The plan

What you get, and what you do not

ledger-free

£0 per month

10,000 API calls a month, 60 in a burst.

Included

  • The whole API: asset types, accounts, balanced transactions, holds, balances past and present, statements.
  • Ledgers for your own clients through the partner model, with production and sandbox tenants.
  • The documentation, the API explorer, the OpenAPI document and the contract written for software agents.
  • Email support through the company support model published on rodmena.co.uk.
  • Every guarantee on the guarantees page — the free plan runs the same service, not a cut-down one.

Not included

  • An uptime commitment. None exists on the free plan.
  • Self-service sign-up or a web console. Tenants are provisioned personally by RODMENA.
  • Published speed figures. None will be quoted until measured on reference hardware.
  • A sandbox you can try without asking. That is the next stage of the roadmap.
Request access

ledger-standard

1,000,000 calls a month

Exists, is not priced, and is agreed by conversation. Mention the volume you expect when you request access.

Typical ledger vendors meter every entry written and price from thousands a month. Ledger charges nothing today; when that changes it will be written here first.

Questions

About the plan

What happens when I reach the monthly allowance?

Further calls are refused with a clear code and a retry-after time until the next monthly window. Nothing is lost: a refused write leaves no trace on the books.

Will it stay free?

There is no paid plan today and no announced date for one. If pricing is introduced it will appear on this page and in the changelog first, and existing tenants will hear from us directly.

Is there a larger allowance?

Yes. A ledger-standard allowance of 1,000,000 calls a month exists and is not priced; ask when you request access and we will discuss what you need.

Do my clients need their own plan?

No. Under the partner model your plan covers the clients you serve; their calls count against your allowance.

Why is a refused request counted?

Because the service did the work of checking it. Counting only successes would let a client probe balances for free, and the count is what keeps the allowance honest for everyone.

Free today. Access is provisioned personally by RODMENA.

Tell us what you keep books of and we will set up a tenant, mint your first key and walk you through the tour.
